Bret is a Winner   (May 24, 2010)

Bret Michaels, the rock musician, songwriter, producer, director and actor who happens to have type 1 diabetes and who recently has had several medical setbacks (an appendectomy, a stroke and a TIA, and a hole-in-his-heart: all since April 11) has proven he's a winner: Bret just won the television reality show, Celebrity Apprentice.

On May 23, Donald Trump announced to Bret "You're hired!", capping a long season of television, and allowing Bret's charity (the American Diabetes Association) to receive a $250,000 donation.
